Tri-Valley residents will get the chance to check out Valley Humane Society’s refurbished Pet Adoption Center in Pleasanton – and meet some of the dogs and cats available there now – at an open house reception and ribbon cutting this Friday. 

One weekend later, the Valley Humane adoption center is joining more than 150 animal shelters statewide to waive adoption fees on June 7 as part of the second annual California Adopt-a-Pet Day. Read more
