The Haven Humane Society is set to host a fee-waived adoption event as part of California Adopt-a-Pet Day on June 7.

Officials say the event aims to find loving homes for pets in shelters across the state.

According to Haven Humane Society, the adoption event will take place at the Morgan Adoption Center in Anderson from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at PetSmart on Hilltop Drive in Redding from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Read more
